Joint Position Statement: Substandard and Disrespectful Care in Labour – Because Words Matter

European Association of Perinatal Medicine, The European Midwives Association and EBCOG have published a joint position statement on substandard and disrespectful care. We feel these terms are a better way to frame an important, serious, and widely discussed topic. We encourage anyone interested in women’s health to read this paper and to please share with relevant parties.
