EBCOG Fellowships
To promote trainee mobility across Europe, the European Board and College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (EBCOG) awards three fellowships each year to Obstetrics and Gynaecology trainees currently training in Europe. This initiative, established jointly by EBCOG and ENTOG and successfully piloted in 2012 and 2013, was designed to support the harmonisation of training standards across Europe. The positive feedback from these fellowships led to the continuation of the programme in subsequent years.

Each year, EBCOG awards three individual fellowships, each valued at €3,000, to support a three-month placement in an EBCOG-recognised training centre abroad.
Candidates are expected to contact the host hospital directly to confirm the feasibility of the fellowship before applying for the EBCOG fellowship.
The fellowship is typically announced in the autumn of the preceding year, with awards made in early spring of the following year. The fellowship must be completed within the same calendar year in which it is awarded. Detailed guidelines and deadlines are published annually on the EBCOG and ENTOG websites and circulated through their respective newsletters.

The fellowship programme is managed by an interim working group comprising members of the EBCOG Executive and the ENTOG Executive.
